1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using WriteWithStoryline ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use WriteWithStoryline.

2. Your Content

You retain full ownership of everything you write in WriteWithStoryline. By storing content on our servers, you grant us a limited license solely to provide the Service — to display your writing to you, save it, and process it through AI features at your direction. We claim no other rights to your content.

3. Subscription & Billing

Monthly plans are billed on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of your current billing period.

Lifetime plan is a one-time payment that provides access for as long as WriteWithStoryline operates as a commercial service.

Free trial lasts 7 days. No credit card is required. One free trial per person.

Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all first-time paid plan purchases. Contact us within 7 days of your first charge for a full refund.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use WriteWithStoryline to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on others' intellectual property
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI features
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent trial limits or other restrictions
• Share account credentials or resell access to the Service

5. AI-Generated Content

AI features are provided as creative assistance only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or legal permissibility of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before publishing or using it commercially.

6. Third-Party Services

WriteWithStoryline relies on Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI), Clerk (auth), Railway and Vercel (hosting). These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

WriteWithStoryline is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding any claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email.
